Why Donate

The only funding FEF Canada receives is from charitable donations given by individuals and corporations in Canada. Without your financial support FEF Canada will be unable to continue its focussed effort of supporting Metal Casting Education.

FEF Canada’s mission is:  To advance the Canadian Metal Casting industry by funding post secondary students, supporting training and school programs, collaborating with other organizations and, promoting the industry in Canada.

Support FEF Canada by making your Tax Deductible Donation

Every dollar given to FEF Canada is important and every dollar goes to support the mission and efforts of FEF Canada.

Individuals will receive a tax deductible receipt for contributions that go directly to FEF Canada’s efforts to support Metal Casting Education in Canada. Former FEF Canada students and award winners are able show their appreciation the support they have received while making a tax deductible donations.

Annual contributions from companies provide the backbone of the support for FEF Canada while receiving full access to FEF Students. Ongoing support from the Metal Casting industry in Canada is critical to FEF Canada’s future efforts.

Perpetual Endowed Scholarships can be established by individuals, organisations and corporations.

Corporate endowments can be established to memorialize a founder’s memory or ensure ongoing support for students in a specific area important to them.

Individual Memorial funds provide a permanent projection of a cast metal leader’s career and in a real sense, continue the work to which a lifetime was dedicated.

Industrial Organizations can establish a fund to ensure a secure investment of the their savings without worry about the principal or the investment strategy as their board members change every year. For the chapters (AFS, NFFS, SDCE etc) these funds are used for their intended purpose each year in the name of the Chapter. For these perpetual scholarships, the principal is restricted and only the earnings are used to provide scholarships to qualified students.
